Slowing down

You are in danger.

Slowing down

If you wait for something or if you tie up your happiness to anyone   full time.

That thing might delay, or why not ever happen, and that someone…

Well that someone could change just as you change over the time.

This man was happy. A silent happiness. Not the bubbling kind of type.

But that happiness for the  chance of a new day.

A new day contemplating life, nature, people, basics.

No watch on his wrist to count down the minutes.

Who needs that and for hat purpose exactly? Parks have such a timeless edge to them.

If living shouldn’t be a race maybe it’d be a nice idea of just slowing down a bit.

No watch, no hours, but faces, colors, smells, sensations.

Just being here, there, wherever you may be right now.
